Skin Lesion Excision

The wound left behind may require closure with suturing or reconstruction with a skin graft or flap. This is necessary to help with healing and improve cosmetic appearance.
The Procedure
Preparation:
Before the procedure, Nada will assess the lesion and surrounding skin to determine the best approach for excision.
An injection of local anaesthetic will be administered to numb the area, ensuring you do not feel pain during the procedure.
Excision:
The lesion and a margin of healthy tissue will be removed. This ensures complete removal of any abnormal or potentially cancerous cells.

Reconstruction:
After excision, the wound may be closed using stitches, which may be dissolvable or require removal after a few days to weeks.
